I love Jesus because He is insane! I once heard someone say, "It is normal to wake up in the morning and to not feel motivated to change the world." I say, "If that's normal, I don't want nothing to do with it. I choose insanity!" Jesus came to change the world, redeem it actually. And He done it like a crazy man. He died for it. Now that's insane,and quite frankly, I love insane people. (Remember I love all you LIA board members.) So, I love Jesus because He is insane, and I am insane because I love Jesus. I am out of my mind for Jesus. Praise God! Now watcha think about that?
Why Do I Love Jesus?
Oh Gosh, where do I start? As I lay in the hospital a few years ago, not strong enough to talk a lot, I could still hear everything going on around me. I remember the Doctor telling Deana to "get some rest He won't make it through the night". It was like the Ghost of Christmas past taking me on a speedy tour of my reckless life. I saw nos celestial light, and all the hype. I saw me, the person I once was, and the person I had become. To make a long story short, the seasonal finale ended with me in the beautiful silver, and a hint of blue trim casket. covered with a nice rose casket blanket. My family was all there, heartbroken. Then I woke up. I was fine, going home. Packing my stuff, gonna go home, I feel fine I told the Doctor and Nurse. After his initial shock that I still was still not only Alive, I was full of energy.Then he broke the bad news, You still have to have surgery young man, well that's ok, we can do that, then he said "without anesthesia" ..... Oh CRAP! and YES it did hurt! very badly. But I got over it. After all this Trauma my Doctor told me there was no scientific reason that I should be alive. By all blood readings, people died way before the liver alt levels ever got that high.
Jesus may not be a scientist, but he saved me for a reason. From that point I can't say that I still didn't have an uphill battle. But Now that I am on Top of the hill, I am closer to him than ever. Just a few good reasons I love Jesus, He has Freed me of Alcaholism, He has delivered me from the most depressive state anyone could imagine, He has spared my life on many occasions just because he loves me. Jesus is number on in my life, over family, church, and work. I love, worship, and study his word daily. So Yes I love Jesus more than anything on this earth.
Jesus is my everything. He died for my sins and came back to life so I can live forever. He intercedes for me with the Father. He has brought me back into fellowship with my Heavenly Father. He has showed me through His example how to lead others to Him. He calls me His friend. I love my Jesus. Jesus is my Lord and Savior and best friend.
